GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart cross country team competed at the Saratoga Invitational this afternoon.

Sophomore Joe Bochynski (Amherst/Amherst, N.Y.) cross the finish line first for the Statesmen, covering the 8k course in 30:14.40. Bochynski earned a 111th place finish. First-year Bill Jordan (Grand River Academy/Akron, Ohio) was the second Hobart runner to cross the finish line, completing the course in 32:01.10.

The Statesmen will return to action on Oct. 29 when they compete at the CCOC Championships.
